Cant Change The Past

Cant change the past

but let the past change me

To learn from the things

I was too blind to see

Don't want to keep repeating

the same mistakes anymore

Need a new beginning

from the life I was living before

Can't see my future

but I can embrace today

Do what I want to do

Say the things I want to say

I can do all that now

with a whole heart

because I'm making

a brand new start

Can wake up now

with a smile on my face

Know in the world

I have found my place

For once I feel i am

where i belong

I've found the strength

to carry on

I've got this far

I can keep on going

The future for now

is not worth knowing

Because I need belief in me

and belief in what i cannot always see
