What is Shamanic Healing?
Ama Deus is a shamanic, energy-based system of natural healing that has been used for the past 6000 years by an ancient South American Indian tribe called the Guarani that live in the Amazon rainforests of central Brazil.
The Guarani have always lived close to nature and their environment and lifestyle has greatly influenced their spiritual practices and beliefs. The system of healing we know as Ama Deus, is a way of life for them. The Ama Deus symbols form a kind of wordless shamanic language and it is through charging these sacred symbols with the power of Universal Love, that healing energy currents are transmitted into the human energy field thereby effecting healing by restoring equilibrium and balance.
The Guarani shamans understand that the healing they give is through the power of a single Universal energy source. The words they use for ‘love’ and ‘God’ are interchangeable, and they believe that ‘love’ is the energy that effects the healing and they are simply the transmitters of this energy.
The healing system was first brought to the West by a third generation Brazilian energy healer called, Alberto Aguas. Both his mother and grandfather were doctors who also worked with healing energy and during his life; Alberto witnessed many healings and observed many of the methods of delivering energy healing through his parents and their associates. Alberto lived alongside the Guarani for many years and over a period of time they taught him their healing methods and he in turn passed this teaching on.
The Guarani have no written language and as Portuguese is the main language spoken in the region, Alberto decided to name the Guarani’s system of healing, “Ama Deus”, which means “I love God” in Portuguese. (The expression “Ama Deus” actually originates from Latin meaning “Love of God”).
What and how can Ama Deus be used?

I offer a consultation prior to treatments, which I provide for anyone who wishes to ask Question’s or receive advise before the treatments. Consultations are Free Of Charge (FOC) if a booking is made, or the fee is returned to you. I do however charge a small amount of £10.00 is made if no booking is arranged purely for time and travel costs.

The sitter of any Reading or Healing Session or Holistic therapy certifies that he/she is not aware of any medical or psychiatric condition which might affect his/her interpretation of the reading and that he/she is voluntarily seeking these services from him/herself and assumes full responsibility for the outcome.
